Kort af rýmingarsvæði

Tilkynning frá almannavarnadeild ríkislögreglustjóra og lögreglustjóranum á Austurlandi:

  • Áfram hættustig á Seyðisfirði og rýming að hluta í gildi vegna skriðuhættu.
  • Rýming verður endurskoðuð á morgun 28. desember.
  • Engin hreinsunarvinna í dag vegna veðurs.

Eskifjörður:  Engar hreyfingar hafa mælst síðasta sólarhringinn þar sem sprungur opnuðust í veginum upp að Oddskarði.  Áfram verður fylgst með svæðinu.

Seyðisfjörður: Gengið hefur á mikilli rigningu á Seyðisfirði í dag.  Fólk hvatt til að fylgjast vel með upplýsingum um færð og veður á www.vedur.is og www.vegag.is.

Engar tilkynningar hafa borist um skriður eða drunur á svæðinu frá því í gær.  Mælingar í morgun sýna að lítil sem engin hreyfing hafi orðið á upptakasvæðum skriðufalla frá því í gær.

Í kvöld mun kólna og rigning á láglendi fer yfir í  snjókomu. Engin hreinsunarvinna mun fara fram á rýmingarsvæðinu í dag vegna veðurs.  Á morgun, mánudag, munu sérfræðingar Veðurstofunnar ásamt samstarfsaðilum meta aðstæður á ný og mæla hvort hreyfing hafi orðið á skriðusvæðinu í umhleypingunum.  Upp frá því verður staða rýminga á Seyðisfiði endurmetin.  Vel er fylgst með upptakasvæðum skriðufalla, bæði af snjóflóðaeftirlistmönnum á Seyðisfirði og lögreglu.

Staðan er metin daglega og yfirfarin á samráðsfundi almannavarnadeildar ríkislögreglustjóra, lögreglunnar á Austurlandi, Veðurstofu Íslands, sveitarfélögum.  Tilkynninga frá þeim fundum má vænta að fundum loknum. Tilkynningar verða sendar fjölmiðlum, og birtar á vefsíðum og á samfélagsmiðlum lögreglunnar á Austurlandi og almannavarnadeildar RLS.  (www.logreglan.is og www.almannavarnir.is).

Ef aðstæður breytast hratt munu tilkynningar þess efnis verða sendar út.

Announcement from the Civil Protection Department of the National Commissioner of the Icelandic Police and the Chief of Police in East Iceland:

  • Continued level of danger in Seyðisfjörður and partial evacuation is set to continue due to a continued risk of mud flow.
  • Evacuation procedures will be revisited tomorrow, December 28th.
  • No clean-up operations are scheduled today due to weather conditions

Eskifjörður:  No movement has been measured over the last 24 hours as cracks formed in the road up to Oddskarð.  The area will continue to be monitored.

Seyðisfjörður: Seyðisfjörður has been seeing heavy rains today.  People are encouraged to monitor information about road and weather conditions closely at www.vedur.is and www.vegag.is. Icelandic Road and Coastal Administration will condintue to monitor the situation and open the mountain road as soon as possible and once weather conditions have improved. Mountain routes are being monitored and available machinery on standby to clear the route as soon as possible. There have been no reports of mud flow or rumbling sounds in the area since yesterday.

Readings from this morning indicate that there has been little to no movement at the source of the mud flow since yesterday.  Tonight’s forecast is for cool temperatures and precipitation in the lowlands, which will later turn to snow. No clean-up operations are scheduled today in the evacuation zone due to weather conditions.

Tomorrow, Monday, experts at the Meteorological Office and their associates will reassess conditions and measure whether any movement can be detected in the mud flow area during the changing weather conditions of the past days.  Following that, the status of evacuations in Seyðisfjörður will be reassessed.  The source area of the mud flow is being closely monitored, both by avalanche inspectors in Seyðisfjörður and by the police.

The situation is assessed daily and reviewed at a consultation meeting of the Civil Protection Department of the National Commissioner of Police, the police in East Iceland, the Icelandic Meterological Office and municipalities.  Announcements from those meetings can be expected once the meetings have been concluded. Notices will be sent to the media, and published on the websites and social media pages of the police in East Iceland and the Civil Protection Department of the National Commissioner of the Icelandic Police. If conditions were to change rapidly, notifications will be sent out.

Komunikat Departamentu Ochrony Ludności Krajowego Komisarza Policji i Szefa Policji we wschodniej Islandii:

  • Utrzymujący się poziom zagrożenia w Seyðisfjörður i obowiązująca częściowo ewakuacja ze względu na niebezpieczeństwo osunięcia się ziemi.
  • Brak operacji porządkowych ze względu na niekorzystne warunki atmosferyczne  
  • Ewakuacja zostanie poddana ponownej weryfikacji  jutro 28 grudnia.

Eskifjörður: W ciągu ostatniej doby, tam gdzie powstały szczeliny na drodze do Oddskarð, nie wykryto żadnej aktywności. Teren ten będzie nadal monitorowany.

Seyðisfjörður: Dzisiaj w Seyðisfjörður mocno padało. Wszystkich do śledzenia informacji o ruchu drogowym i pogodzie na stronach www.vedur.is oraz www.vegag.is. Vegagerðin będzie monitorować sytuację i otworzy drogę, gdy tylko będzie przejezdna i poprawi się pogoda. Monitorowana jest droga przez cały czas i jest dostępny sprzęt do jak najszybszego jej otwarcia. Od wczoraj nie było doniesień o osuwiskach ani podmoknięciach terenu w okolicy. Pomiary z dzisiejszego ranka pokazują, że od wczoraj w obszarach, w których wykryto osuwiska, nie było prawie żadnej aktywności. Dziś wieczorem będzie chłodniej, a deszcz na nizinach zamieni się w śnieg. Ze względu na pogodę w rejonie ewakuacji nie będą dziś wykonywane żadne prace porządkowe. Jutro, w poniedziałek, eksperci i partnerzy Biura Meteorologicznego ponownie poddadzą ocenie sytuację i sprawdzą, czy występuje aktywność  w obszarze osuwisk. Od tego momentu stan ewakuacji w Seyðisfjörður zostanie ponownie poddany ocenie. Obszary, na których rejestruje się osuwiska są ściśle monitorowane, zarówno przez inspektorów lawinowych w Seyðisfjörður, jak i przez policję. Sytuacja jest codziennie oceniana i weryfikowana na spotkaniu konsultacyjnym Departamentu Ochrony Ludności Krajowego Komisarza Policji, Policji Wschodniej Islandii, Islandzkiego Urzędu Meteorologicznego, gmin. Decyzji wynikających z tych spotkań można się spodziewać bezpośrednio już po spotkaniach. Powiadomienia będą przesyłane do mediów i publikowane na stronach internetowych oraz mediach społecznościowych policji we wschodniej Islandii i departamencie obrony cywilnej RLS.
